The 2015 GSL is now one for the history books and what a piece of history it is. There are so many elements that make up this classic event now in its 25th year, allow me to first list the highlights:

- Over 300 entries, comparitively small to many other regional and national shows, but the quality and creativity is astounding, far eclipsing any other event of its kind in the world.

- Builders from over 26 states were represented plus 3 foreign countries

- More than $4,000.00 generated in the GSL Saturday Night Auction for the International Model Car Builders Museum, a record sales mark for the event

- Shuttle busses provided tours to the International Model Car Builders museum

- Numerous build seminars on every subject of model building from traditional machining techniques to the latest info and demo on 3D desktop printing.

- The Fisher Body Craftsmanship Guild presentation was on full display bringing with it 26 outstanding models along with many of their original creators from the 1950's through the 1960's.

- Creation of the "Model Kings" Saturday evening the 2nd of May 2015

- Over 50 awards presented for the first time as a 3D printed acolade to the winning builders

- Breakfast awards banquet Sunday morning the 3rd of May marked the closing of this historical event providing attendees with more memories and build ideas to last till 2017 when GSL XXVI will take place.

- One function that is not on the schedule but is a major contributing factor to its success is the commraderie established among model builders from places near and far over the four day event. The only way to experience this is to mark your calandars for the GSL XXVI and start making plans to build and attend yourself.
